I started looking into Revit ever since it came out, and now I’ve finally gotten to buying the license. I’ve yet to figure everything out, but I can already see the reason as to why BIM is the future that’s already happening.

Revit is the industry standard in architecture and civil engineering, and you’re probably living under a rock if you’re not familiar with that :). I prefer the 2017 version because that’s the one I worked with the most; hence I was thrilled with this license. Revit allows me to have a complete project within hours, something that would take days beforehand. I’ve used the software for over a year now and I have to say, it’s an okay buy. The interface is really difficult to get used to so if you are new to building design, I do not recommend this. However, once you get the hang of it, it’s not bad. You can’t go wrong for the price!
