I have been using Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical 2020 on a Windows platform for several years now, and I must say it has completely transformed the way I work. The software’s powerful drafting tools and extensive library of standardized components have greatly improved my productivity and efficiency.
One of the key features that I frequently use is the ability to quickly create and edit mechanical drawings using the extensive range of tools available. The software’s intuitive interface makes it easy to navigate and find the tools I need, such as the various dimensioning options and annotation tools. This has saved me a significant amount of time compared to older versions of AutoCAD.
Another feature that I find incredibly useful is the ability to generate bill of materials (BOM) and parts lists directly from my drawings. This has streamlined my workflow significantly, as I no longer need to manually create these lists separately. The BOM can be easily exported to Excel for further analysis and processing.
I also appreciate the software’s compatibility with other Autodesk products, such as Inventor and Vault. This seamless integration allows me to easily collaborate with colleagues and share files between different software applications without any compatibility issues.
The software’s extensive library of standardized components has also been a huge time-saver for me. I can quickly insert commonly used parts and components

I just started learning Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical 2020 and it seems quite challenging! There are so many tools and features to get the hang of. The interface can be a bit overwhelming at first, but I’m excited to keep practicing and improve my skills. 💻📐🏗️ #CADnewbie
